Swarvey’s back with another selection of jazzy psychedelic beats for your mind. There’s a very mellow vibe throughout this one, which makes it perfect listening for the mini heatwave we’re currently experiencing here in the UK. Take a listen……… Purchase: WaLDeN LP(Bandcamp)
Starslinger: Dumbin feat Reggie B
I’ve been sitting on the fence when it comes to Starslinger if i’m honest. The Rogue Cho Pa release was brilliant, but I got tired of the endless stream of remixes pretty quickly. This litte monster however has definitely renewed my faith! I’m not even sure how to classify it as a genre (electro-boogie-pop-hop?!), but that just adds to the charm…and having Reggie B on there certainly doesn’t do any harm either. Hit the box below to stream and/or download this bad boy.
OffBeatKid: Compilation Vol2
I’ll be short and to the point on this one. OffBeatKid is from Russia, he’s only 17 years old and his beats are HEAVY. 23 tracks, free download: just click the link already!!
The homie Elaquent just let this collection of vintage remixes loose on his bandcamp page. Dating from the 2006/2007 era, EQ would like to point out that this was before he decided to turn quantize off. Don’t let that put you off though: with or without the looseness, the man still has an ear for mellow samples and snare cracks. The Bahamadia remix will have you lighting up the joss sticks for your next meditation session in 10 seconds flat. Download:Crappy Old Remixes(Bandcamp)

Madlib: Medicine Show 12
The final instalment of the Medicine Show series is nearly here! On 27th September to be exact. With his final installment the beat konductah takes us on a blunted out ride through 30+ tracks of exclusive remixes, covered in dusty static and deep soul shops. Feast your ears on the exclusive previews below, then get your pre-order on!
BUG’s Mechanical Soul EP is here! For fans of deep electronic beats (with a hint of 80’s funk thrown in for good measure) this one is a must purchase. To be honest we weren’t sure how the JusLikeMusic fam were going to follow up the recent B Lewis EP (it was THAT good), but yet again they’ve brought us some outstanding music from another very talented producer….give thanks! Purchase:Mechanical Soul EP(iTunes)

Moka Only & Chief: Crickets Preview
I’m gonna go out on a limb with this one: this is probably going to be the best rap record you’ll here all year. What else do you expect from one of the best emcees and one of the freshest producers in the game? Chief’s beats on this sound every bit as mesmerising as his work on “Drone Beats….” and Moka’s mellow flow is the perfect fit for these low swung, jazzy beat excursions. We can’t wait to hear this project in it’s full glory! Crickets is due for release on 31st October, a date that definitely needs to be added to your diary. Stay tuned for more…

The Primeridian & Tall Black Guy: Darling Lure
Yes yes y’all….we’ve posted about this dynamic due before, but now their album has officially hit the shelves it seems only right to hip you to it. Darling Lure is a stellar record, inhaling influences from the golden age of Hip Hop and exhaling the same vibe with a modern twist. Whether you’re a fan of Pete & CL or Little Brother I can guarantee you’ll find something to love about this album. You can cop the record now via iTunes & Amazon and if you’ve yet to make up your mind then enjoy the video below for “Whistle While You Work” as a taster session…
